Learner Description: This task was developed in conjunction with Special Ed staff for Austistic learners in an Art Room with iPads. Students were already familiar with the terms used below.
In your classroom, you use these terms for Facial Expressions, called the "Zones of Self Regulation". In this task, we are going to take photos of willing students and teachers making these faces, and then make a 'selfie' of the same facial expression mood.
These images will be taken in the Google Drive app, and then we will make a creation using the photos.
Click on the picture of the Group below to navigate to the Google Drive folder for the image group. Then select the 'Facial Expression'
Sign in to the Google Drive App on the iPad.
Open the folder for the mood you are working on. Press the + icon and 'Use Camera.'
Add your photo to the appropriate folder for each expression.
Create a Magnetic Mood Board
This image was the inspiration for this task. We will create a version of this image, with some of your images.
Once your Photos are created, we will work on editing them into your 'Mood Board'. The next step will be to edit your photos into this template in Google Drawings
Then we will print, cut, and mount with Magnetic Photo Paper.
