Nelson Web Page Owner Hello everyone, my name is Nelson Baquero. I graduated from BSU in 2005 and completed my B. A. Teacher Secondary Education Certification. I taught Spanish, Calculus and P. E. at Horseshoe Bend High School in 2006, and it has been a long but fruitful journey. My background is in Electronics Engineering but I share a passion for teaching and training others.

Portfolio - The Purpose

This web-site is designed to collect, organize, and share the work completed during my online Educational Technology Program at Boise State University in order to create a "portfolio".

Three of the main reasons to maintain a professional portfolio, according to "Dr. Snelson" at Boise State University, are:

  1. Document professional growth and personal learning
  2. Demonstrate attainment of skills and knowledge
  3. Collect a sample of high quality work to show employers, peers, students, parents, or community members
