Introduction
I have been teaching for twenty three years. My first year of teaching was in a small Eskimo village in Alaska. While rummaging around in one of the storage rooms, I found a brand new mac SE. From that moment on, I was hooked on technology. I also became the guy people came to with "tech" questions. For years I was the de facto "tech" guy at my current high school, until an official position was created.
For years I have been taking classes of all kinds and have often thought I should complete a master's degree. Finally, three years I found the Master's in Education Technology program at BSU. It has been an amazing three year ride. I have learned so much and have met people from all over the world. I have added an enormous number of technology tools to my arsenal.
This web site is a look into my journey through the Educational Technology program.
What You Will Find here.
The purpose of this site is two fold. First, it is a place for my students. Through this site they can:
- Have access to homework assignments
- Find links that they may find helpful while taking a class from me.
Second, it is a place to showcase the work that I am doing while participating in the Master's Program at Boise State University. I am building a portfolio that will show:
- My progress as a student
- Examples of my work as I am required to create a portfolio of my work for my Master of Educational Technology
- Information that my peers may find useful
