  Toolbar/Blog HUD

Sloodle Toolbar aka Blog HUD was the first beta-released component of Sloodle in March, 2007. The purpose of Toolbar is to allow students to create Moodle-based blog entries from in-world.

When worn, this object produces a "Blog Hud" heads-up display that passes data to/from the user's chat tool. This can present a method for students documenting their experiences on the fly versus taking notes in-world using a notecard.

Toolbar can also be used for students to "report out" during learning assignments. For example, a learning game involving incremental learning at various locations could include student reports to their blog at every step along the way.
