This WebQuest was designed to help you to understand the Battle of New Orleans and to actually have you design a graphic representation of what one of the most important battles in American history.

Not only was this assignment designed to help you understand an important part of American history, but it gave you an opportunity to learn certain important skills. First, you learned how to work with a team and individually to gather information. You then brought all of this information together and sorted it together into a solid piece of information. After that was completed you discussed your results with others and corrected what you needed to to finish your project.

These were very important steps and you used skills that will help you do research on other projects. Can you think of anything else this lesson has taught you?
