Forum Rules
Netiquette or network etiquette is the proper behavior formed by a social
network in cyberspace. Simply stated, it is a set of rules for behavior in a network
or Internet setting. Whenever you enter a social setting that is unfamiliar to you, there
are usually rules for social behavior that you should become familiar with. In the case of
cyberspace, there are rules for various and different occasions. There are netiquette
rules for email, chat rooms, local networks and there are even guidelines for
administrators.
Becoming familiar with these rules will help you to learn how to communicate better
in cyberspace and will help you follow guide lines set forth by different organizations
such as public schools, colleges, corporations as well as social networks on the
Internet. Even though you may not learn all of the rules of netiquette, becoming familiar with
the most basic of these online social norms will help you in many ways.

you network and communicate with others in cyberspace.
Cross Posting - Posting the same article into different groups or forums. Emoticon - (Please see Smilies below.) Flaming - A heated, sometimes nasty response to an email or post. Posting - Responding to a message left on a group or forum or placing an article there. Shouting - Posting to a forum, group or chat line utilizing all uppercase letters. Smilies - Sometimes referred to as an emoticon. Symbol or group of symbols used to convey emotions.
