The Boneman thought that he was hot on the trail of the Negative Stone when he went to France. France was a very interesting country and as soon as Ellis crossed over the border from Germany, he could see all sorts of cultural differences. The name France comes from the Latin word, "Francia" which means "land of the Franks". This area was originally inhabited by a group called the Gauls, who were a Celtic people. Today, France is the 23rd most populated city in the world with a population of 64 million people. Its capital is Paris
This is the second largest city in France that the Boneman visited in 1977. Hoping to find the Negative Stone, Ellis visited this city and found Marseille As the Boneman looked for clues to the Negative Stone, he found out that Marseilles was an ancient city formed around 600 B.C. by seafaring Greeks that named the area Massalia. Eventually thie city came under the protection of the Roman Empoire and continues on in its reputation as a famous port city for trade and travel. It was in this place that The Boneman Ellis found a piece of what may be a part of the Negative Stone |
