Introduction
My Name is Mark Ellis. I am a teacher at a private school in Lexington, KY. I teach 7 classes of History a day and I also teach private music lessons and run 3 online businesses. I have a degree in Music Education and I was in the Army Band for 15 years. I too, have several disabilities from my time in the United States Army to include a severe sleep disorder. I have to use a high tech, computerized machine to pump air into my lungs at night, otherwise I run the risk of a heart attack. To see the type of machine that I have to use, click here on the photo.
Personal Information
My wife and I just celebrated our 26th Wedding Anniversary this month. We have 2 kids, Jessica who will be graduating from high school this year, and I have a son in the Air Force that is returning from Afghanistan tomorrow. (Jan 25, 2008). I'm a professional jazz trombonist that performed all over the world for such noted dignitaries as: Ronald Reagan, King Hussein of Jordan, George Bush Senior and Junior, VP Dan Quayle and a few others. I have lived in these places chronologically: El Paso, TX *** Merritt Island, FL *** Heidelberg, Germany *** Dallas, TX *** Ft. Lee, VA *** Berlin, Germany *** Ft. Devens, MA *** Anchorage , Alaska *** Fairbanks, Alaska *** Grand Forks, ND *** Lynchburg, VA *** Lexington, KY *** I want to move to Colorado next!!! Anyway, I'm an older dude with a lot of energy and a commitment to excellence! My philosophy: Start a business even if it's part time! You will learn more by doing this than you can imagine.
