All About Maps! Can you get lucky and find it on the internet?

We will take the knowledge and skills we have learned in our sixth grade social studies class and apply it to the internet in the form of a search. Your challenge is to find the answers to the following ten questions as quickly as possible. You will use the stopwatch to help you determine the amount of time it takes you to complete the activity. You will be using the Google search engine to help you practice writing an effective search phrases. You will also be using basic and advanced operators to find answers to the ten questions.

Requirements:

1) This activity is timed. Please use the stopwatch gadget provided on this page to time how long it takes to complete the task.

2) You must use Google and the I'm Feeling Lucky button. Only the most relevant web site based on the search phrase submitted will appear so be very careful to use the most effective operators in your query.

When you are finished check your answers against the answer key.
