These are activities that help students understand various concepts at their own pace. Drills are generally repetitive and used to help reinforce a concept. Potential use for drill and practice would be in helping a student that is struggling with a concept or a beginning learner in that particular concept or skill.
Education 4 Kids: State Capitals
This is a great interactive drill and practice game for learning state capitals. Feedback is given after you select from the five choices. If you are correct it will let you know "Correct, the capital of Oklahoma is Oklahoma City." If you are incorrect, it will let you know, "Almost, the correct response for the capital of Washington was Olympia not Yakima."
