When you have students who like to work at their own pace. You can go on a virtual field trip which is easier and more affordable than a real field trip. Many students prefer learning how to read via an interactive or computer-based program. Accelerated Reader provides the teacher with quick feedback on whether or not the student comprehended the book.

Students will enjoy learning about places we

| Tool-Based Hardware/Software |
Students who struggle in spelling or just basic grammar skills can utilize technology to help them identify their mistakes and learn how to correct those errors. | I would expect this to encourage the students who struggle in grammar to take chances in Language Arts (i.e. try to use higher-level vocabulary without worrying about incorrect spelling because Spell Check can assist). |
