The content of this course will focus on developing an understanding of the scope, long-term effects and effective treatment interventions for victims of neglect and abuse.

Note: This course is one segment of the curriculum to be completed by all new Case Managers employed in the Residential Program of White's Residential & Family Services. (www.whiteskids.org) Therefore the focus of this curriculum web is primarily on work with adolescents who are placed in residential care. However most of the information and concepts presented are global and are applicable in many different settings and contexts.
