Learner Description
This lesson is a continuation of a virus unit for an online Biology 11 course. Before you start this lesson, please be sure that you have the previous content in the course mastered including:
- the basic structure of a virus,
- the 2 cycles of viruses: lytic and lysogenic
- viral specificity, and
- vaccines.
Please complete the lesson in the order that it is presented.
Objectives
To evaluate the effects of viruses on human health.
- Define and give examples of viral specificity.
- Give an example of a way to reduce the spread of viral disease.
Directions
