Welcome
Thank you for taking the time to visit my portfolio pages. This portfolio is a culmination of the courses I colmpleted as part of Boise State's Master of Educational Technology Program. As can be seen in the artifacts, my understanding of technology use in the classroom expanded considerably during my two year journey through the program. When I began, I knew virtually nothing about HTML code or the theories behind educational technology. I just knew that I had fun using technology in my own classroom, and that my students enjoyed it as well. Now I know what works and why, and I am able to apply what I have learned to the classroom.
In the artifacts section, I have included the AECT standards as well as the artifacts linked to those standards. In the rationale section, I explain how each of the artifacts meet the standards set by the AECT. Finally, in the reflection video, I comment on the artifacts and my educational and professional growth as a result of completing the program.
